My dad recently inherited $500,000. He told me that if I wanted to start a business, he would help me out (not all of it, of course). I have been thinking about it alot lately and I just can't seem to come up with anything. I'm really sick and tired of working for "the man". Please help me out with ideas. I don't have the slightest clue but I'm young (29). I know I'll have regrets if I don't go for it. Thanks.

Once upon a time (can't remember when, but very long time ago) I was once told that you just put your Advanced Degrees on your business card, such as a Phd.

Now I'm in my mid 30 - work in an accounting firm, almost every one puts their Bachelor's Degrees after their names. e.g. John Smith B Bus - or if they are a CPA or CA, John Smith B Bus CPA - or if they have some other degrees that are not relevant to accounting, John Smith B Bus B IS CPA

Is this appropriate?

Someone told me - well, you have it you flaunt it. But is this appropriate?

What do you put on your business cards?

An auto dealership called and asked to speak to our 11 year old child. We explained to them this was a minor and they told us that a person called inquiring about a price and left our child's info. I know it wasn't us because at the time of the call we were all together and away from home. It makes me worried someone may be trying to steal our child's information. How can I check this information? Can you run a credit report on a minor?

Like when they save reciepts, does it mean that they pay that same amount less from what they owe at the end of the year. Ex. if I spend $600 on a business trip that qualifies as business expenses, I can then owe $600 less on my taxes?
