I made some mistakes (my fault) and although the IRS seems satisfied with my return i am fairly certain I owe them money.
I plan to approach them and will do so with help from a CPA.
In the meantime can they freeze my accounts with no notice or dunning letter?

I have two employees from India that work regular schedules for me, about $5,000 each a year. Are they considered as employees or contracted labor or doesn't it matter since they don't live in the United States. Please give me as much insight on this as you can.

Thank you

I have a part-time job that does not deduct federal tax from my paycheck. I am single with no dependents and I will probably make around $4000 this year from it. What percentage of my paycheck should I set aside to pay my taxes?

I will be 18 soon, and i plan on getting my own apartment. Aparments where i live are roughly 300-400 a month and many of them include electric and gas. I will be turning 18 at the beginning of my senior year of high school. I make around 200 dollars a week at my job. I have health insurance through my job, and i have a car and pay the insurance myself. I also pay my cell bill, and the internet bill at my house. I still feel as though there are other precautions i should be taking before moving out into a place. Will school and work i think it may be tough. I feel though that i have covered many bases, including the insurance, and making sure ill have enough income. Any suggestions as to what else i should be doing to prepare?

I have been in sales for 4 years at the same job and some other sales rep's say that they are bad for sales? Is this true? Does it make you look shady? Old-time sales reps say they are, but we are in a new era.

I'm trying to get my first job(i'm 16). But I never know what I'm suppose to put in the Skills & Qualifications box. I mean what skills do I need to present to them to be a cashier/stock boy? What did you guys put in them?

I don't really have any skills per say. I get a 4.0 in school, I take calculus, I'm a hardworker, and love talking to people, active(use to play soccer for the school), good with computers. I don't know anything else. How would I word all that to make a standout from the rest of the kids who apply?

If someone could give me an actual example of how I would write it that would be great. Like what you would put down, not the thoughts but the actual way you would do it.

I work in a call center for a bank. A customer called me & immediately started using profanity. He was mad because he had just called another division within our bank that we are phasing out. I listened to him yell and when I could not answer one question he asked for supervisor. My sup asked the other division’s sup to call the customer. Our response back from them was ‘the customer was mad that I (me) could not answer his question. They totally spun everything onto me!!! My division has not even been given the proper information to answer this question & I am our star phone representative.
This was escalated to our VP. At this point I sent an email to my boss explaining how rude this customer was with me because with my bosses apparently he was very nice. I was supported by my bosses and told everything was ok and not to be defensive. Shouldn’t I be defensive when the other division is making it seem like I was at fault? Also, do I need to save all the emails pertaining to this?

I enrolled with Renaissance Debt Solutions out of MD and paid the initial $349 start up fee to help me with credit cards and a repo that I have been paying on for 3 1/2 yrs. I was not behind in anything at the time but am now. Checked with the BBB (after the fact) and the company has an unsatisfactory rating. Does anyone have any further information about this company before I just cut my losses and try to get back on track with my creditors myself?

I work in one of the largest oilfields in the Middle East. As you can imagine, security is pretty tight. In recent weeks, a rumour has spread around the office that our manager is secretly listening to our conversations via some radio receiver. In fact just today he admitted that he was in fact in possession of one.

There's two issues here. One, he has obviously smuggled this equipment onto the field - a big no-no! Secondly, is this behaviour not illegal, irrespective of which country one works in? And, by the way, there is no hanky-panky going on. One or two of us are possibly looking to take this legally to a higher level.
