There are 3 credit reporting agencies.
You can get 1 free from each agency per year.https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/index.jsp
AND, if you live in Colorado, Georgia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey or Vermont, you can get an additional free report from each agency by going directly to the agencys website.

annualcreditreport.com - you can get one free credit report per year from each of the three credit reporting companies - you can get them all the same day, or spread them out over the year. The report comes up online right away and you can print it off.
