Cost of living too high, credit scores pricing people out of home ownership, the elite and upper-class squandering the wealth of the U.S.A., our freedom has been shat on, our heritage is evaporating into thin air, take a drive across america and try to find a prosperous small town, the small town is now mostly a ghost town. the elite encourage foreigners to decay whats left of our country for their small financial profit. i could go on. the quality of life for anyone now under 40 can be improved if we hold out from buying homes for a few years!!!

I am trying to rebuild my credit. Here is another question. Once I have paid the credit cards soon after I am having a medical procedure which I was going to put on one of the credit cards. I have been an ideal tenent using direct deposit and paying a week early every month for a year. I am about to move and my landlord dosent want me to go so he offered to lower my rent, but I found a place that will save me 475.00 a month. I feel he is going to keep my deposit out of bitterness. When I first moved in he refused to to a walkthrough with me because he was really busy. The back door doesnt lock on the slider, the carpets were filthy, the oven and dishwasher didnt work(which he asked me to buy and install and take off rent). So I requested in writing to use the security deposit towards last months rent and agree to an immeadete walkthrough as well as a final and he refused. I think he is gong to use the security towards all the things I mentioned (carpet and broken slider door). So Should I just keep last months rent and tell him to keep my deposit? I am leaving house sparkling and hiring steam cleaners.

The mortgage guy wanted to close on the 27th but my realtor said we have to wait until the 9th because the city has to do their inspection on the 3rd so I called the mortgage guy and he said If we dont close by the 1st we wont qualtify anymore because the guidlines are changing Im confused can this be dont because of 9 days the preapproval alone was good for 60 days and it hasent even been 30 yet Someone help please explain

The store I work at is getting closed down. It's not "official" but it's getting there. Anyway, I've only worked there for 2 months (there's a 6 month probationary period). Do you think I qualify for severance pay?

I heard it was not constitutional law to have to pay taxes. What would happen if someone neglected to do so?

I had 2 jobs @ the same time with the same company, & I quit both of them because nothing is ever done correctly. One of them was working @ the summer camp. I no longer work for pay, but I'm volunteering for the camp until the kids go back to school. Do you think I should quit volunteering, too? I'm only doing this because I love the kids so much, & I don't want them to feel let down. My former boss wants to re-employ me for both jobs, talking about how badly he needs me. He's tried to bribe me with sign-on bunuses, raises, higher promotions, & whatever he CAN to try to get me to come back. Obviously his bribes aren't working. So, he tries to sneak in extra work that's non-camp related that's from the other job & try to make it my responisbility. Now, I think he's going overboard to try to get 500 people to sign a petition to get me to go back to those jobs. & he wants me to be responsible for everyone's unfinished or poorly done jobs. Do you think this petition will work? I don't!

I am a student rushing through college, yeah I know I should stop that really. But my gpa is now low and I would like to know how can I still be able to work for the big 4. Also just because I do not work for the big 4, does that mean I will not be able to make the big money? My last question is... do accountants go back to school for a degree RELATED to accounting? Or do they just graduate with accounting degree and get a CPA and start raking in the huge bucks. I hope this question will be seen by some. I am just a confused student right now.

Bank wants to initiate foreclosure proceedings on expired construction loan in my ex-husband's name on the home I was awarded in divorce and was quitclaimed to me. I was paying interest only payments and seeking refinancing. Lenders could not lend since it was not a "residence" so I opted to take all the funds I had left to complete enough construction to get "occupancy permit". I did get occupancy two weeks ago and have possible financing coming shortly.

Ex received Intent to Foreclose notice and says HE can come "seize the property". I seriously doubt that since I am the only one on the deed. He has serious drug problems and got another gal pregnant while being sued for paternity for another child out of state two years ago (hence the divorce) - if his mouth is moving he's lying. I never heard of such a thing, but just in case someone has heard of this, I wanted to ask if it's at all possible.
