I've been advertising my apartment to try to re-let it for a new 12 month lease in preparation for a relocation due to work. It has been going moderately well in that a lot of people have been interested and come by. But i found out the other day that when one couple i gave applications to went to turn them in to the realty company, they took them back to the building to show them other units and even offered them deals to cut the price. Now, clearly this is immoral, but does anyone who knows something about this type of thing know if it is illegal, and could i use it to negotiate breaking my lease?

I dont mind working, but i hate the job i have right now. I know i should find a job that i like but i'm making good money here and i need to help out my family. Its not that my job is bad, its just that i dont have any interest in it , so thats why i hate it. But everyday i dread goin to work, an look forward to 6pm when i'm able to get off ....soooo what could i do to make it seem like time is goin by so that i wont be so stressed and agravated?

we have lived in our house for over 20 years, my wife bought the house before we were married land registration was not compulsory, so it was never done. The previous owner retained part of the land for future redevelopment. two years ago the son of the previous owner, now deceased registered the retained land and sold it to a developer, we have since had a dispute with the developer which led us to look at our deeds, only to find that they showed that the previous owner had actually sold my wife 120 feet more of the garden than I thought. so according to the deeds, the developer has built houses on what was our property. The land registry say that the son had produced no deeds ( obviously because they would have reflected ours ) but they allowed him to have absolute title on the basis of a sworn statement that the boundary was where he wanted it to be and so far they refuse to admit a mistake. Their argument seems to be that because we did not know that we owned the land then we didnt

I have 2 kids both under 2 yrs old, I'm 26 yrs old, I have no health problems. 2 of my grandparents died of heart attack, and so did 3 of their parents. I don't smoke. I am aspiring to be a chicago police officer. I've already passed the written exam. I'm looking at $1M payout to my kids, but I don't want it paid out to them in one payment, I want them to receive fixed payment monthly for the rest of their life. What life insurance policy do you recommend?? Finance specialists only!

I don't know but it seems that whenever I'm in a Wal Mart store, the employees are either gosipping about one another, angry with their co-workers, having problems with their boss or talking about how they are fed up with their jobs. Has anyone noticed this? I mean the minute I walk past the greeter, I am in soap opera land. I have been grocery shopping for years and have gone to stores such as Kroger, Minyards, Albertsons, Winn Dixie, HEB and Super Target and have never encountered this type of behaviour coming from their employees. It appears as if it is just the Wal Mart employees.

Just yesterday I was in a Wal Mart store and I overhead a co worker saying she wanted to die and that she didn't like what she was doing. Any Wal Mart workers in here care to respond?

A friend of mine has several LLC companies under his name. Over a year ago, he asked me to invest in a new company that he is going to open up, I will be a silent partner, and one of his other company (he is the sole member) will manage the operation. I gave him $70K, and we signed an agreement. But now it's been over a year, there is no new company and there is no sign of operation, and he did not even register the new company. I could hardly find him. I finally found him and he told me the money was lost when getting inventory in, and he lost his own money too. but there is no paperwork. In the meantime he bought a new luxury car. The whole thing just doesn't smell right. Do you think he is a fraud? Can I go to police to report this? How do I recover my money? What do you think I should do next? Thanks for your help.
