i am insurance consultant from amassurance, a insurance company from malaysia . i have a problem with personal prospecting .

Give your clients excellent customer service. Then ask them for referrals. If you customers have a good experience with you they should be willing to give up a name or two. Be very polite in asking and give them a couple of your extra business cards. Eventually they will find their way into new hands.

Volunteer - Join local boards and committees. Make sure that you follow through with what you say you will do. This is a great way to meet a lot of new people. If you have kids in school there should be many opportunities to work with his/her school board. If not, join some local organizations (food shelters, etc) and give your time. You will eventually start meeting a lot of people that can send business your way.
