This is basically a math problem.

If I am living in Dallas, Texas, and I am bringing in a
$910.00 paycheck

how much will I actually be bringing in after Taxes
(Please incorporate everything...FICA/Med, Federal, Social Security, etc)

I am looking for an amount with your work shown (Percentages, deductions)

Please, I need a true final amount.
Thank you all!

instead of saving money together hes out buying expensive "toys" for himself and his children. We are both in our 30s and have allways rented so we both feel its time to buy since we are getting married soon.I have my "half" ready but whenever he gets "extra money" he spends it on things he or his children want. The problem maybe is he knows i have enough money the pay for his half too.I don't think thats fair. Why should i pay 100% of the down payment when he has money too but chooses to spend it on the things he wants. He complains all the time how he hates renting and wants a house but never does anything.why?

I am 28 and have been investing in 401K's since my first job at the age of 21. I have lost money every year. Good economy. Bad econony,. I have done money market, done managed risk, changed plans and risk levels. No matter what I do, it keeps losing. Every change I research the 5 10 and 15 year averages and they always do great until I invest. I'm losing faith in the 401K process. I just took a new job and I wont be vested until 3 years of service, and not 100% until 5 years. I dont plan to stay there that long. Right now they ONLY fund that is making money under my employers plan in the money market which is making 1/4 of 1% interest. I know yanking the cash out is an automatic loss but is it time to stop putting money in the plan an investing it elsewhere instead (CD's maybe?).... Thoughts?

I just graduated with a Liberal Arts degree and I don't have any professional experience. Is it appropriate to go find my college literature teacher and ask him if I can use him as a reference on a job resume for a writing position? I was one of his best students.

I have to deal with a person who is in her 30s and still acts like a child. Doesnt want to do her work always taking breaks. When i ask her general work questions she wants to raise her voice to me, like a kid instead acting like a professional. What should I do because i have to deal with her on a daily basics and I don't want the office or the people we service to suffer because of her attitude.

I sent my resume to over 24 jobs in the Houston area and haven't had one repsonse yet. Where do I start looking? The career services at my university has jobs in the Dallas area only and I don't want to live there, so how do I actively find a job in a city that I do not live in? I work full time now while I am completing my degree and I do not want to leave my current position without finding a new job so I am stuck between a rock and a hard place. Someone please give me some good advise.

Had an Interview today, it started ok and as ive been to the same firm before they had a profile of me already. The woman doing the interview noticed that i have back problems and i also have a phobia, she said 'Ever considered applying for a disability allowance'? I stood up and told her to sod off and stormed out the factory.

Can i or should i make a formal complaint against her or the company? She was being sarcastic/joking about it when she said it.

I was in the process of moving in January 07' and I never received my tax forms for my previous job. I was a "self-epmloyee" so no taxes were taking out of my checks throughout the year.. I started my job in early 06' and I probably made around $10,000 for the year. What should I do? What are the penalties for not filing on time and how much am I looking at paying? Please help me soon because I know I need to get this taking care of as soon as possible!
