I am applying for numerous correctional officer jobs and need any good suggestions for an objective on my resume.

Like the other person said - you don't really need an objective anymore ...

But, if you are going to write one, you want a very specific one - one that is focused on your field. (Take it off if you apply for something outside your field.)

I'd consider something like: Seeking a position as a correctional officer where I can grow and contribute to a team of professional colleagues.

I don't use objectives on my resume. I use a letter of introduction to explain why I am applying and why I am the best qualified candidate. After that, including an objective on the resume is just repitious and takes up space.

Not necessary to put an objective on a resume. That's better addressed in your cover letter.

Objective: to work as a Corrections Officer in order to utilize my skills and experience and positively impact your organization.

That might be good. If not, it might be a good jumping off point for something better.
