Not even sure if any bank will accept Deutschmarks anymore because the Euro has been around for so long. Any ideas?? I have about 200 DM, probably was worth about $100 5 years ago.

Travelex still buys some legacy Euro currencies, including German Marks dated 1989 or later.

For the other responder that had UK Pounds: Those are still good. UK never went to the Euro.

I'm pretty sure the date when banks would accept any of the national currencies experied quite a while ago. I still have 10 English pounds I'm stuck with.
