I am officially Red Cross certified, I'm confident about babysitting, and now, all I need is....CLIENTS!! Any help? I'm kinda shy about approaching my parents friends about their kids, and I don't really know a whole lot of people with small children. What should i do?

We are trying to sell our home, and the home we hope to buy requires a $25,000 downpayment. However, we won't have that kind of money available until we sell our current home. Are there loans available that would cover this cost until our current house sells?

Where I live you have to be 14 to get a job. Only everywhere I look, on the application it says you must be over the age of 16. I know its because 16 year olds are "more mature and responsable"...But why don't they give some younger people a shot? Like if they have straight A's and have great references. I am way for responsible than any 16 year old I know.

Ok, so my husband and I rented out this house last October we paid a security deposit of $1580 and we have never been late on payments. My husband was discharged June 12, 2007 on disability from the Air force. We told our landlord that we wanted to relocate to Bristow Virginia which is about 60 miles away from where we are currently. She said ok and that she wouldn't charge us the remainder of the months but that she would have to keep our security deposit for breaking the lease. At the time we assumed this was fair. Then while cleaning some stuff we accidentally broke a door in the basement and told her about it. She then asked if we were going to fix it. Shouldn't she be using the security deposit money that she is keeping from us to fix that?

So the question now is, should we just get the door fixed and tell her that we should be able to get our security deposit back in full?????

I'm not sure if my husband was legally qualified to get our full deposit back?

I just ordered The Total Money Makeover book by Dave Ramsey. I really like the idea of his program and can't wait to read his book and get started. I was just wondering if anyone would be willing to give me their opinion, and perhaps their stories of success, on the book and program? Thank you!

I just graduated this May and have minimal HR experience. I took an HR job that pays only 27k, and I'm struggling with my bills. I have student loans, car payment, and all of my living expenses to pay and it's HARD. Can I make more somewhere this close out of college? Should I keep looking?

..if I'm in Canada, and i have a buyer in China; how will I know what to tell them what the shipping will be to add to their "bill"?
Usually if the seller is sending something in a box, or whatever, they are the ones who will pay for the shipping, to ensure that it gets to where it needs to go. How do you know what this will cost, with buyers oversees, or anywhere. Does Ebay use a certain mail service carriere?

I don't have a job this semester, but I have been awarded work study for the Fall semester. I don't want an evicition notice in student housing and will have the money to pay rent without a problem on August 13th. My problem is that when I explained my situtation in writing my manager wants $670 by August 4 to accept my payment plan. I have been current on my rent since I moved in March of this past year and paid my rent and all of my fees. I don't know where I can ask for the $670 just to pay it back after I receive my check when it is cut to me after August 13th from the college.
Help please!

I got a student loan check and it says to endorse it by signing the back exactly as it appears on the front but I forgot to sign my middle initial, I never sign anything like that but on the front of the check it has my middle initial. Will the funds be recalled because I didn't sign it exactly (including initial)?

I've always wondered when I see a new arts and crafts store of a particular type of restuarant go up what made then choose THAT store and why a different one? Is there a good reson for putting it in this location? What is the criteria, if there is any? How long does it take to decide? Are there people that hold this position in determining where it goes?

I have other options but radiology tech seems interesting and easy enough to not stress me out. On the other hand, im at a point where I need to start making some real money and Im not getting any younger, so if this wont cut it financially then I will find a new path.
