Why can't you take your car to another state? If you no longer want your car, then you need to sell it. You can then pay off the note with the proceeds of the sale.

Sounds like you need to sell it. You will probably be upsaide down (owe more than it's worth) and you will have to pay the shortfall. That's why you should never finance a car for more than about 3 years. Better yet, pay cash for all your depreciating purchases!

Sell the car for as much as you can. Get a personal loan for the additional amount you need to pay of the car.

can you sell it? list it in the classified as moving must sell. Place it on a busy corner with a huge for sale sign. Or is there a friend or family member you trust that you can sell it to, & have them take over payments?

If your contract doesn't allow that you can't take it. You will have to pay it off or sell it unless you want to store it and keep paying the payments and insurance.

If you are trying to get rid of it you can take it to carmax if there is one where you live and they will buy it from you. Also you can put it in storage until u get back.

Make the payments every month and keep it insured. When they are no longer the lien holder then you are free... ..
