manager $100.00 non refundable money order to hold said apt, and it included my ap fee. The trouble is, after I did my ap, I ask her where my apt was located. I drove down a ways, (what sold me on the one she showed me was the patio.) It was huge, with concrete, and grass, shrubs, and even a tree. She said yes they had great patios with grass etc. for my toy poodle. When I found my apt to be, the patio was 1/4 the size of the other one, and nothing but concrete. I love the apt, and she has my non-refundable $100.00, but how do I handle the misleading awful patio?

My divorce was final in March of 2006. Still legally married on Dec 31, 2005, my now ex-husband took it upon himself to file without me as head of household and claimed our son on his return. The divorce nor any of the stipulations as to who can claim what or whom were not finalized at the time he filed. I ended up having to file single and had to pay in while he got a rather large refund. My question is this, shouldn't you file according to what your status is on 12/31 of the tax year you are filing? If so, then is it possible to file an ammended return for that year and maybe receive a refund? If an ammended return can or should be filed, how do I go about doing that and what info do I need to include?

this readydebit card is a prepaid visa card. i've seen a few others, but this one seems to be lower cost when i think about how i'll actually use the card. it's $10 to get the card, then $5 a month, plus a fee for atm withdrawals. anyway, i'm curious, anyone see something big that i'm missing, or is it a good deal? the website is www.readydebit.com.

I ALREADY KNOW ABOUT LIFE INSURANCE

2007-07-22 18:51:05 · 3 answers · asked by angsstarliht 2 in Insurance

to do a 1031 you have to buy the next property and have the same loan amount on it as your old one. "like kind" or upgrade. so if i do a 1031, and my relinquished property had a 400,000 loan on it, I will always have to keep a 400,000 loan or higher on the next proerties. so my monthly payments will ALWAYS be the same, no matter how many times i do a 1031.

or is it...i have a 400,000 loan, in 5 years i pay it down to 300,000, and when im selling it its at 300,000 i have to have a 300,000 loan on the next property, then hold it and pay it down to 100,000 for example, then the next house i exchnage has to have a 100,000 loan amount? or is it based on the loan amount i took out at the time i bought it on my first one?

is it possible to build equity to where i have no loan on a propertyu with a 1031, or is a 1031 only for upgrading properties (keeping the same amount of loan on it, so my paymetns will be the same) but because its upgrading, it can produce more cashflow?

I ask this question out of utter contempt with the country (uk).
I have worked solidly for 5 years, paid all my taxes, paid all my child support for my son from a failed relationship and battled to be a part of his life, paid all my bills and want to get married, start a family and buy a house. Can I do it? NO! House prices are through the roof (pardon the pun) so I'd need to rent, which is exactly what people who refuse to work do. I've worked for 3.5 years as a debt collector dealing with people who have raided catalogues and bank loans/credit cards for all they can get and refuse to pay it back, whilst earning (in some cases) 40,000 a year in benefits! Don't misunderstand, there were people in a genuinely bad situation trying to get out of it but not being able to. I used to think being an honest, hard working citizen got you somewhere in life, but now, I'm not so sure. so I ask again, whan EXACTLY are the benefits of decency?

Age/Transportation - I'm turning sixteen in August and will [hope to god] get my drivers liscense the first try so I can drive to a job. I reside in Wisconsin.

People Skills - I have EXCELLENT people skills. Helping people just enough without passing into annoyance is my speciality. I am very good at interviews and one-on-one situations. Being a leader and taking charge are some of my strong points.

Academic Skills - I'm a high honours student who has been recommended for academic and leadership events. GPA around 3.9.

Others - I have probably one of the biggest work ethic cores of any teenager. I never, ever give up at a challenge or request.

With all this in mind, where would be good places to work?

A few I've thought of were [and why]:

American Eagle - love clothes
Gamestop - love video games
Rue 21 - love clothes

I'd like to work in retail, since I love selling to ppl.

I'd personally not want to work at like a fast food place beacuse I hate food.

I applied for 2 credit cards in my name when I was 16 and of course I didnt realiize what a pain it is to pay on credit cards. I had a bank of america and Dell credit card. I used it for college but im not finished yet and cant afford the payments. Now I have negative stuff on my credit. Someone told me that I am not responsible for paying them back because i was not of legal age to be binded in a legal contract. I was just wanting to know if Im not responsible how would I go about getting it off my credit and letting the companies know.

What I mean by this is should I call the place back after awhile and check on the status of my application? If so, how long should I wait before doing so? Would it be ok to call, or should I go up there in person? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. I've been trying very hard to get a job for a couple months now and no luck. All I'm doing is turning in applications and never checking back in. I think that may be my problem. Anyway, thanks for reading and your help.
