Pyramid schemes, aka Ponzi schemes, are illegal. You may be talking about multi-level-marketing which, when properly structured, is legal. That said, just think for a moment how the deal works that promises you such big money for so little work.
Even though they offer your money back, that is no guarantee because they cannot guarantee you will make any money at all and chances of getting your money back are slim to none.
Read the Fine Print and I will wager they have an escape clause of some kind where you lose.

Most definitely and it is a rip-off for those down the line, that's why they call it a pyramid scheme.
If you're in the first part of the P, you may make a couple of bucks if all others hold their ends up, but if you're down the line a little, you can & will loose the loot you put in...and don't listen to those that say they will give you your money, thats a con and they only want something else from you plus your loot...and then they will dump you like a hot rock.

RIP OFF...notice it is called a pyramid SCHEME...meaning the people at the very top (picture a pyramid) make all the money by collecting it from everyone below them.
DO NOT DO THIS! Remember the saying, "If it seems to good to be true, it probably is!!" This saying basically only applies to get rich quick schemes.

Rip-off.
The people up high in the pyramid (the point) count on many people below them to fund their little scheme, knowing that eventually the number in the bottom of the pyramid will peter out, and with no work on their part, the money has rolled in for them while the folks below have gotten their pooches screwed.
Don't fall for it, there is no such thing as getting rich quick.

A rip off and illgal. How could it work? You know a pryamid has more people on each level so after you get very many levels you would have used up every person in the world. Do you have two stupid friends with $1,000 do they each have two stupid friends with $1,000. Just to get down two levels you need to find 6 more people with $1,000 and the next layer would be 12 more people with $1,000 and not smart enough to keep it.
At least you were smart enough to check it out. I had a friend in the 80's want our money and when we told him no he cried, everyone he had asked told me no and he lost his money. There isn't a guarentee.

Pyramid schemes are illegal in most states. They work for a little while and then they crash, so you never know if you are getting in when it's about to crash - or if it's a police sting.

I tried it once. Never saw my $100 again or my $500 that was promised to me. There are no contracts with this ... don't do it.
