I have a nice sized collection of vintage coins and paper money from all over the world, left to me by my grandfather. A lot of it is from the WWII era or older. I don't want to take it to a coin dealer not knowing much about any of it, as I think I'd be offered a lot less than what it's all worth. What are good resources to help me research what it is that I have?

I'm trying to find low income apartments so that I can move out of my parents house. Some of these apartments are in not so nice parts of town. So I was wondering in people who rent can get alarm systems installed in their apartments, or is this only for people who own homes?

Hi,
we refinanced our home 3 years ago and took some cash out to pay some bills, now we have to move to another city and to find out that we owe 20k. I dont understand? I talked to an apprasier and he told me that the loan company that did the apprasial back then push for a high appriasal. He felt that it should have been appriased about 30k less at that time. What can i do?

my question is . on my good faith estimate after the loan originator's fee. ther is a brief statement, that the lender will compensate the broker with 3% of the loan amount this is an a paper loan ( freddie mac) no discount points are there. shuold i be worried. first time home buyer. middle score is 648

That I am acting as guarantor of. I decided to go into a contract with a person who paid me well to act as guarantor to secure a property. The problem is I cant reach her and I have been interested in getting keys to the house to check it out. I know its dumb that I never have taken a look at the property because at the time I didnt want it, but now im thinking maybe of moving into it and using it for my own personal benefit since it is mine. My question is, where can I get keys from it if she is no where to be found since it is my property legally?

i have NO idea. my mom wants me to be a nurse. and i guess that wouldnt be THAT BAD of an idea. im about to be a senior in highschool and my mom keeps pressuring me to find out. and im just not sure yet.

Ive had like so many summer jobs so i have a lot of different skills.. ive worked floor at JCP. cashier and waitress at a resturant. kid birthday hostess at an amusement park. and i babysit 2 girls a few times a week. (and i didnt get fired in any so i must be.. ok. )

I was told that I was on the "very short list" of people he would rent a house to. He said he would probably be making calls tonight. If he doesn't call me by 8 PM, should I go ahead and make the call? I am very anxious to get the house but I don't want to upset him.

Any attorney's or legal advisors out there know how much you can earn making and selling small crafts before the IRS would actually consider it a business? I have a few problems with my work at the moment. I work in a corporate office in the city centre and have worked here for the past 6 months. I am not really clicking with anyone in my department (immediate crew of 7) but also find it hard to initiate conversations with other staff around the building. (260 staff) I work with one lady who talks harshly about people to me but then I get fearful she is doing the same about me. I've approached her about this and she has just palmed off my queries and left it at that. I also feel she talks to the boss about things she might over hear I'm doing in my personal life or when I talk on my mobile because he knows things I don't tell him. I'm wondering if there's any websites or books on office politics because I really like my job but I'm pretty naive when it comes to all this manipulation and backstabbing. I'm 24 years old and am just getting my career started so I refuse to leave this company. It's my dream job that I've fought hard for.....

I have a charge off on my credit but it is coming off next month. Can the collection agency put it back on your credit for another seven years? Or can they turn a charge off into a judgement? The car dealership charged if off but a collection aggency has it now it has been 7 years as of next month.The dealer has the car I turned it in on a lease. I had the option to buy but I decided not to and somehow how they charged me for the pay off 18,000 and I don't have the car anymore. I have just now learned it was on my credit and thought if it was coming off next month I wouldn't pursue it any longer. I don't know what to do about the whole situation I payed what I owed in full on the lease I didn't want to buy the car thats the only thing on my credit period. Help please!!

The units of an item available for sale during the year were as follows:

Jan. 1 Inventory 18 units @ $40
Feb. 26 Purchase 36 units @ $46
June 18 Purchase 42 units @ $52
Dec. 29 Purchase 24 units @ $55

There are 33 units of the physical item in the inventory at December 31. The periodic inventory is used. Determine the inventory cost by the (a) first in, first out method, (b) last in, first out method, (c) average cost method.

I felt sorry for my co-worker. I have known her for about 3 years. I would say I'm a friend but haven't hung out with her outside of work very often. She's going through a bitter divorce with her husband of 15 years. I have leant her money in the past when she's had trouble and always be given the money back in the timeframe she promised.

This time the amount she asked to borrow was rather large, $500 but she promised to have ot repaid in a week when our commission check was going to come in. She usually make triple the commissions I do so I knew she would have the money to give to me.

Well the next day after I lent her the money she wasn't at work. I asked her boss where she was and was told that she was absent for personal reasons. So I tried to call her, but no answer. Three weeks have gone by and she has neither answered her phone or come to the house door. She hasn't returned to work but they say she's gone for personal reasons but is still working for them????

Everytime I try to get a credit card or a loan they creep back up on me and i get denied. But they are now write offs so I don't know if it would even be worth paying them off (they total being under $2,000). They are from when I was 18 and stupid and I would pay them off but I have been told that they will still show up as being delinquent so it does not matter if I pay them off. Luckily my bank who I have been with since I was 16 will give me loans with the lowest interest rate they offer, but what if I need credit from another source at some time in my life. HELP!
