I have other options but radiology tech seems interesting and easy enough to not stress me out. On the other hand, im at a point where I need to start making some real money and Im not getting any younger, so if this wont cut it financially then I will find a new path. Anybody have any suggestions?

Don't be fooled... it can be VERY stressful.

Salary varies a lot depending on location and the type of facility you work for.

. You might want to check on this site for medical careers and saleries @ http://swz.salary.com/salarywizard/layouthtmls/swzl_narrowbrief_HC02.html ; "...The median expected salary for a typical Radiologic Technologist in the United States is $44,569." But I see on another site that it CAN start at $20K. oww.
Try to ask one of the rad tecs at your local hospital for info. Of course there are 100 other medical careers. .
