I currently own a house with another person. We're not married so I was curious of how that would work for tax purposes. Can only one of us write off the interest on the house or can both of us since we're not married?

My job takes money out of my paycheck for taxes(i work in NEw York) Now when is this money given to the IRS? Does my job put this money ina bank account that generates interest for themself until tax time comes around? If so i dont think thats right

my wife and I have terrible credit and no matter how hard we try to rebuild it just never gets there. My son wants a PSP and he says he's going to do a lemonade stand, he wants other ideas to make money.
Though he doesnt's want to sell anything on eBay (he says you don't get enough money beacuse that's where cheapos by stuff and try to get really good deals). Any ideas would be great.

I work a lot of hours at a company and they only pay the base pay. I am actually working almost double that but still only getting base pay. Just wondering if there is a labor law that says something along the lines that if a salaried worker works over 50 hours (as an example) that they company is required to pay overtime pay to the employee?

I don't know the address, I saw a number on a tree in front of the , so I'm assuming that's the house number , I'm trying to do a search with that number and the road the house is on, but nothing is coming up.
The area is really rural and probably about one or two other houses about 3 or more miles away, the house has been abandon for over 3 years now, it's a huge farm house with a huge barn and about 15 acres or more of land.
I will like to rent this house or possibly buy it, is there anyway online that i can find out who owns this house or even get an address on it. It's in Otsego County NY, Possibly Morris or Laurens Town/Village.

we filled out the credit app and turned it in he said he would but it into a couple different banks. how long do you think before we hear something within this week? also we were aprroved for a 60,000 mortage threw 2 different banks with a 10% downpayment, we have the downpayment so you think we will be aprroved for a modular home loan? im not asking for 100 percent correct answer just in a general idea, i heard its different getting a modular home loan vs a home mortgage any ideas?

i have 5 credit cards with a total credit limit of about $15000.00 and i owe a total of about $600 all together...will closing my two most recent cards really hurt my score or not? or should i just cut up the cards and not use them? would it hurt my score to have just two dormant cards that are never being used?

Last Friday i had an interview with Home Depot. I was interviewed for the cash office/bookkeeping associate job. Everything went really well, they job was explained to be the woman told me they were really looking to get people for that job. So, she sent me out for a drug test that same day. She explained that they normally do two interviews so she called the woman who would interview me next. We then discussed pay and she told me the other lady would contact me over the weekend to talk to me about what i would be making. So, i left to take my drug test, she sent out for my background check and things were looking good. Now it has been 9 days later and i have not received any calls. I tried to call the woman who interviewed me earlier this week but she is on vacation for the week. I then asked for the woman who was supposed to call me to discuss pay with me shes was not in. She goes on vacation this week. Has anything like this happened to anyone

ok so i got this job at a factory that is being built and since its under construction still they hired people to patrol the area. so basically from 7 in the morning to 3 p.m. i drive around the construction site and make sure no one is there that isnt supposed to be there. ok so heres the issue the job is soooooo easy but its just very boring. i'm not complaining b/c its very good money however are there any ideas that anyone could give me that i could do while im at work. im in my car about 7 out of the 8 hours and i listen to music or text people but i cant think of anything else to do. so any ideas on what i could do in a car thats mostly moving, but i drive around the site very slow and i park and sit a lot. so please any suggestions will help!

It has been listed with them for 6 months and they only had shown it twice. In this time I have had 2 different agents that have really not done anything for me. We worked with one major company so far and our work was featured on one of the major online marketing publications. Although this is still minor, we are a really small rich-media design boutique, I feel confident about our group's skills and really want to grow. So we look to rich out to more clients. Is it a common practice to look for marketing executives' contacts on major web sites and reach out to them with direct service offers? For me this sounds like a little too harsh type of contact, but are there any alternatives? Thanks!

A quick sale on the house is not an option, so please do not post with that, foreclosure is the only option, its not my house.

Anyways..

The house paymet was due on June 16th. I read that an average foreclosure takes 102 days, is that after her first missed payment or what?

When should we expect to be evicted? October 16th at the earliest right?

Thats the earliest, but they have to auction the house and stuff right?
