Last Friday i had an interview with Home Depot. I was interviewed for the cash office/bookkeeping associate job. Everything went really well, they job was explained to be the woman told me they were really looking to get people for that job. So, she sent me out for a drug test that same day. She explained that they normally do two interviews so she called the woman who would interview me next. We then discussed pay and she told me the other lady would contact me over the weekend to talk to me about what i would be making. So, i left to take my drug test, she sent out for my background check and things were looking good. Now it has been 9 days later and i have not received any calls. I tried to call the woman who interviewed me earlier this week but she is on vacation for the week. I then asked for the woman who was supposed to call me to discuss pay with me shes was not in. She goes on vacation this week. Has anything like this happened to anyone

That is the way Home Depot works, if they changed their minds after you left they will put you off. In hopes that you won't call them back. Same thing happened to a friend of mine. She has been at Lowe's for 5 yrs and was treated better than at Depot

I'm in the same boat with my own job search. First off they wouldn't be paying for a drug test and background test if they weren't going to hire you try to be patient this week is a short one for many people with the 4th of july
