We worked with one major company so far and our work was featured on one of the major online marketing publications. Although this is still minor, we are a really small rich-media design boutique, I feel confident about our group's skills and really want to grow. So we look to rich out to more clients. Is it a common practice to look for marketing executives' contacts on major web sites and reach out to them with direct service offers? For me this sounds like a little too harsh type of contact, but are there any alternatives? Thanks!

I would try consulting an ad agency or marketing consultant - people that would have a better clue than the general public here on Y! Answers
