i seen it on a video clip that its voluntary to pay income taxes and that we don't have to pay it. And that theres no real documentation that enforces us to pay just the IRS agents that bully us to pay by inflicting thier own forces.

I had an interview (phone interview) scheduled for June 4th. She didn't call and after an hour, I called to leave her a message and emailed her at work. She emailed replying that she thought the date was June 11th and said that she'd call to reschedule. A week went by and I emailed asking if the position had been filled. She said no and that she wanted "very much to talk with me" - 'Would I still be available for an interview"? I said yes, but haven't heard anything from her in three days. What should be my next step? Should I forget working for someone who has scheduling conflicts? If she wanted to put me off and not interview me, why say did she wanted to to interview me after a week of no contact?

I was going to be an Egyptologist, then a vet, then a cop, then a beach bar owner, then a chef, then a sailor among many other things. I'm 25 and getting nowhere. So, how do you pick a profession when you want to do a little bit of everything or just lose interest?

I am approaching the age in life where you have to start thinking long term. I have worked my way through college, and have been working two jobs for the past 7 years. It is really hard to decide what it is I actually want to do with my life. I would like to find a rewarding career that I will enjoy, but how are you to know if you will enjoy it until you get a taste of it. I have been in the graphics art field for the past 5 years, but recently gave it up due to the company not having benefits. I would like to find a company that I can grow in and have a future with. I am presently living in Montgomery, AL but am willing to relocate if the opportunity is there. I am a dedicated person who strives to do the best job possible. I am quick to learn, and work well with others. I tend to be a people person, so I enjoy working with the public. If anyone know of anything, please let me know. I can email of fax a copy of my resume' for your review.

Thanks, Daniel

My mom is terminally ill. My sister who is 24 years old gives her a difficult time and comes and goes as she pleases. My sister is NOT on the lease. When I took my mom to the police station to see what they can do, they said nothing. The officer told her she would have to file an eviction on her. That makes no sense since she is not on the lease. The officer said it dont make a difference. They live in a southwest suburb of Chicago. Anybody been in this situation? How can she get her out???

My fiance and I currently split ALL of the bills evenly. Mortgage, Utilities, Cable, etc. We each pay for our own cars and insurance. We also each pay for our own credit card bills and student loans.

The thing is, I make $45,000 a year and he makes close to $65,000 but can make up to $70-75 in overtime a year.

Is this fair? Every so often, I ask him to help out a little extra (pick up a utility bill or 2) but he's dead set on the fact that he works for his own money. I understand that overtime can be exhausting but he gets time and a half for that. My job does not offer OT so I would need to get a part time job makes less than what I make now.

What is the fair way to do this?

I'm looking at the open questions that I have answered recently and I'm seeing the same pattern in a lot of the questions I've answered. I see 3 negative votes for questions I've answered. I'd like to know who's doing this and why are you doing it? I haven't done anything but answer questions to try and give people correct, or what I think is correct info.

Medical bills, eviction, car repossesion, you name it, somehow i got mysef into it.
Just in the past year or so have i realized how much its affecting my life and I want to do something to save my future.
At this moment im feeling overwhelmed and dont know where to start. I have seen info about the debit consolidation programs, but not trusting of them. How do i start paying off these people and companies, without going broke day to day?

We put an offer on a house and everything looks good on our loan application. The disclosures arrived today, and the bank is asking for some additional information. My head says they are just confirming information we already discussed, but my heart is worried something is going to go wrong! Does everyone feel this way??

My husband started a small publicity firm this year. I was wondering if anyone can give me ideas as to how to contact firms like Loreal, Coca Cola, Walmart, Baskin Robins, and others. I have made contact with some of their local publicity agents but they always just say they will present my material to their customer. I am almost sure they are not doing it. I want to present these companies my media without having to go through their agent. I see ads in local magazines and wonder how they get them to place their ads. I haven't had any success yet. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I am unemployed and yesterday, had to close my bank account. I have an outstanding loan with cash call and I called to see what arrangements I could make to pay it, when I get a job. The woman on the phone told me I had to pay this month, in other words, beg, borrow or steal, because I do not have it. She told me to ask my friends, huh! She told me if I do not pay, I will have to suffer the consequences, does anybody know what consequences she is talking about? They cannot garnish my paycheck, right? I know they can put it on my credit report, what else? I am planning to try to pay it this month, but if I don't have a job or I just started a job, how will I pay?

My job automatically provides me with $50,000 life insurance free of cost. Many years ago, I opted to pay $80/month to increase it to $100,000. My son is 26 years old now. I was thinking I would cancel the additional insurance I pay for ($80/month) and sock it away in a savings for my retirement. I'm 55 yrs. old. Any advice?
