Oh yes, yes and yes

Doctors have saved my life, extended my life, helped me over the rough spots with pain meds and sleep meds and anxiety disorder meds..lol
Lawyers have kept me out of jail and gotten me a lot of benefits that were due me.
The doctors and lawyers are just telling you things you should do yourself. Consider them as educators as they educate you on the right decesions to make in life.

IN court I would probably lose my temper in front of a sassy sarcastic judge..like Paris Hilton? lol..but my lawyer just smiles and in a few words can tell my story without me screwing up my case with my ill temper...I don't suffer fools very well..and sometimes police, lawyers, and judges know how to push your buttons to make you kill your own case...that is what your lawyer is for..that and educate you on your rights.

Depends on the individual and the situation you resent for them to solve or help you with. If they are very good at what they do and have a heart they will charge a reasonable price or do whatever they can to help and I'm sure that would be worth whatever they charge.

Generally speaking, yes.

Market forces determine what various professions get paid, and while certain ones seem inequitable (teachers, for example), what our society holds in high regard gets paid more than those things which we do not hold in high regard.

You will only pay for something--or someone's services--if you think it is worth it; just like everyone else.

This isn't the appropriate category to be asking this, but yes, I believe they do. With the amount of schooling they go through and the price they pay for that schooling it is well deserved.
