I work as a child-care provider. I do it at my home, and every year I pay my self-employment taxes. I have been doing it for 3 years now. I have 7 children that I care for on a daily basis. Would this be considered as my own business?

This seems a bit extreme just for being a couple of days late by accident. And since the bill has been paid which was only $44.00, And it couldnt be reposession the house is paid for. I think I am being harassed. Can they do this? I have been a good customer all along, I was ill last month and forgot to pay the bill this is BS. I am going to sue them.

I finally paid this card off after 2 years. I have read other questions and people say leave it open. This is one of three cards I have just paid off. I plan on keeping one open to use as the APR is lowest. If I keep the one card open and close the other two, how will this affect my credit?

I am 27 yr old female,I am unemployed due to health probs,and don't have medical insurance. I am currently seeking to get on disability.due to a disc l injury and other health probs II was hospitilized a few times in 2,005 n 2,006 and have wracked up a hospital bill debt of at least 12,000. Unions seem to me to be the biggest business of all. They take your money, have no real overhead and protect the lazy workers who make big mistakes and don't care if they are a benefit to the company they work for. What do they really do besides get rich off blue collar people? I think they just rob the very people they are supposed to protect from the so called "EVIL"Corporations. I say "Thank you" to the big corporations. Without them I would be looking for work. Why do people care how much money a corporation makes? The more money they make the more likely I will be to retain my job. So "I WANT" to work for people who make lots of money.Shouldn't we all?

So I just read that a bill in the senate that will taxe big oil companies about 30 billion dollars.....and will supposedly use the money to "targeting the money to energy conservation, wind turbines, electric hybrid cars and clean coal technology."
Both Democrats and Republicans seem to support this, there is virtually no opposition to this bill.

My concern is that the cost of this will be passed onto the consumers. We already pay high gas prices. The government sees this as an incentive for big oil companies to pursue other forms or energy development, but is this really an incentive for that, or is it just another opportunity for big oil to pass the cost onto us?

They tacked on an additional @$2700 onto my loan and since that time my car payment went from $350 a month to $700 a month. Before this happened, my credit was good, and since after that time my credit changed drastically. I've been told that this may be illegal. If anyone has info, please let me know. Oh, and this is in CALIFORNIA.
