What I am looking for is the most returns for the amount invested. I know there are many ways to invest but I've run out of ideas and there are two many investment schemes out there. I would appreciate your input in this. Thanks to all of you who answer.

I was just wondering. I want to purchace some realestate but I don't want to live in it, I want to rent it out. Is it easier to be approved for a loan this way. I don't think I would have any problems. However, I was just wondering. I will be a first time buyer as well. Thanks community

I am new to options trading as my question will soon make very clear. If I see the market price of a put at .25, lets say I buy 100 contracts at $25. Now when I reach the "strike period" am I obligated to purchase those shares like I would any other stock? Or is my total investment cost just the commission on the trade and $25 (100 contracts @ .25) ? Let's say the company I am buying a put on is trading at $10 a share, after buying the 100 contracts at .25 do I have to pay for anything else? Question really simplified: Do I spend $25 on the 100 contracts and then never have to invest more money for this particular investment? I just wait for the "strike month" and I could only lose my original $25, and I don't have to replace the stock (like a short position)? Sorry it's so long but I really wanted to address my question clearly.

Today I found out that my credit score is 770. The reason why my credit score is high is because my parents co signed ro me to get a car loan. Today when I went to apply or a credit card I got rejected. I don't make alot of money. My question is even though I have a high credit card and becuase I don't make alot of money is that the reason I got rejected? Is there any way I can got my own credit card since I don't make alot o money.

I was told i could get one to help my credit score go up.
I have no job and go off my husbands pay. Im about to be 20 in august.

We are starting a family. So I need one that will be good for us in the long run really and we both can have even though i have no job.

I would go throuh our bank, but we might not be with them for long. Our other bank we have I know wont be very good to go through cause we will be shutting it down next year when my husband comes back from deployment.
I want to get credit in case i have to open an account with a company.
I already had to pay a rediculios $200 up front deposit fee for electric, almost had to do the same for the phone as well.

I bought 5 acres in a deed restricted subdivision in the Houston area 3 years ago. I paid $55,000 for the lot at that time. I am contemplating selling that property now and I have seen similar lots sell for $150,000. I am trying to find out what I could expect to pay in taxes on the gain I make from the sale to see if it is worth selling or not. I have made no imporvements to the property since I purchased it.

We lost a long term renter, so we fixed up the property and handed the management over to a property manager. We had to spend a lot on remodeling, but now the income has doubled, even including the property manager's share. What forms or changes need to be filled out when I do my income tax? It had previously been our primary residence that we were renting while abroad, and would be still, if we ever return to that area.

Where I'm employed I work As a Salesman and office help. I work a designated schedule and get an hourly wage and should be considered an employee, however i am treated as a subcontractor when i get paid and she has me file a 1099 tax form. To make matters worse I don't get paid overtime or any other benefits. I've talked to my accountant and he says what she is doing is very unethical and even called her on it. I basically run her business for her. What should I do? Other employess have brought it up and she gets irate and offensive. Suggestions??

I am moving to Italy in September. I plan on selling all of my furniture but have quite a bit that I will need to move. I will have boxes of clothing, books, personal items, etc. Shipping through the USPS is not an option as they no longer offer ground postage out of the country, by air it is much to expensive. Any ideas?

I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this but I'll ask it anyway: Wilson Lending Inc., and some guy by the name Greg Wilson is offering to lend me $25,000 at 3% over 5 years. All I have to do is send him a $275 non-collateral loan fee? This is a scam right?

The former employer has made derogatory and false claims regarding work habits from 4 yrs. ago about a friend of mine who was 16 at the time. she now works somewhere else ( they told her about the former employer's comments about her). I thought it was illegal to divulge any opinion about a former employee good or bad.

This morning one of my stocks shot up by 1000% because someone but a buy order in at 121.00 dollars instead of 12.10 dollars.

I didn't catch it in time to get any benifit, but is this kind of foolishness common on the stock market? The unfortunate side effect of this is that it has completely skewed the chart, and it looks like a flat line now except this morning.

I'm 24 years old and have a good job, but it doesn't offer a 401K. Any recommendations as to what I can do to set myself up for retirement? I've been thinking about an IRA. How do I set this stuff up? Do I go to a bank? I don't really know where to start and what is best for someone my age.

I rolled over my 401k into a Fidelity IRA. I didn't add or remove funds from the IRA during the year, though I did trade stocks. Is there anything that needs to be reported to the IRS on my tax return?
