I wanted to know if the credit Bureau shows if someones cell phone bill was 4 day late? or does it have to be over 30 days and reported by the cell company? My bill was late 4 days ( i forgot and was out of town) and was curious if it would affect my credit. iv never been late more than a few days.

The whole story is this. I have a Pentium II 500Mhz laptop with 128 MB Ram that I have been using for the past two years to limp through my classes. I am thinking of purchasing a new computer but would like to know if it is tax deductible. The degree I am taking courses is completely online so the computer a computer is needed to complete the degree.

I have about $1300 in disposable income every month and am looking to potentially buy a house in the next 6 to 9 months. I have a credit score of 710 however because of my credit card debt my income ratios only allow me to qualify to borrow $200K. With the area I live in I would need to qualify for at least $230k to find something to live in. I was told by my mortgage broker that if I could save 5% for a down payment I would qualify for more. With that being said, how should I allocate the $1300...save or pay down credit card debt?

I've applied to around 10-15 jobs. Some are better opportunities than others. Say I get an interview and an offer from Job A that is one of the less attractive jobs, but I've just been asked to interview for one of the nicer jobs? What's the proper way to ask the people from Job A to wait for an answer from me. What's a polite length of time to mull over the offer before I need to say "yes" or "no."

FWIW, these jobs are various science technician jobs, some with Universities, some with state agencies, and a few with private companies.

I live in Houston tx and have been with Equity Residential properties for over 3 years now. They just sold one of their properties in Houston (that I live in ) to another residential company. They tell me that if I want to transfer to another city I have to do it through the new company and not with Equity Residential whom my contract is with. Is this, legally, how it is done? When a company buys out a residential property is your contract automatically included without any say from the resident themselves?

in may 07 and it is 8 month bank cd ending in jan 08. Also, my interest will be left in the bank to be compunded. When it is tax season comes up for me. Do I file for 7 months for the year 07. Or do I have to pay this cd in taxes in 08 since the cd finishes in jan 08.

Someone owes me 42,000$ and he can not pay back immediately. He wants to set up a loan contract. Which type of loan and what stipulations will yield me the most money.
Currently i collect 600$ every 4 weeks until the loan is paid off. However he will not pay it off as he can not see paying 600$ on a small number, as this will not fare. Therrefore i told him we would change terms of loan, however what is comperable or better to this current agreement. Initially i lent him 35000 with the agreement to recieve 42000 and 600$ every 4 months until payed.

I already got a refund from Federal, didn't get one from state until late then the amount wasn't the same one as my copy of the return. She said she refiled it because of some residency issue but never told me about it and still hasn't given me a copy of the refiled return. Now federal is messed up as well and now we may have to give back half our refund. She is not being very communicative about it and is slow about giving us copies. We still have not received hard copies. What do we do now? We can't afford to take legal action.

I'm a massage therapist and I am begining a practice. I will be sharing a single massage room, and the time with another therapist. She has senority there, and will have twice the amount of time availible to her. The Sub-Lessor is charging us both full booth rent. Am I out of line to ask for lower booth rent? If I have half the time she has, wouldn't it make sense that I have a lower rate. Equal rent should have equal time. How can I propose this properly to the sub-lessor without stepping on to many toes?
