Recently, an article in the Business section of the Daily Breeze of Torrance, California, did a story on a small coffee stand in Tukwila, Washington called: Cowgirls Espresso. The company employs young women dressed in revealing halter tops and bras to serve coffee at these small drive thru coffee stands. According to the article, the women wear 'pasties' over their nipples and as long as they aren't showing their breasts and buttocks, they aren't breaking the law. And according to the patrons (who are predominately male), the coffee ain't bad neither.
Business, according to the article, is good (huh, who wouldda thunk it?). The stands make about $800 per day, with the women receiving minimum wage, plus $80 to $150 in tips.
Question for you ladies (or anyone who cares to answer): Is this good buisness or blatant 'sexplotation?' Please elaborate on your response.

My wife and I have been unofficially seperated for about a year. We have three children together, and I'm responsible for 100% of the childrens' care because she doesn't work. I also pay health care expenses not only for her, but the children too. I believe she has already filed her taxes and claimed the children. What are some things I can do to get the most out of my tax return if she has already claimed the kids?

Any advice in regards to filing bankruptcy, can they make us sell our home and become homeless. (live rural, so value isn't like Florida or something, most we could get is between 15-22 thousand for the property. Any advice would be so greatly appreciated.....

I'm doing a problem where i'm calc'ing how much i should be willing to pay now (present value) for an annuity that has an interest payment (discount) of varying amounts. The high the i goes, calcs telll me the less I should give in money right now.

If its got a higher interest rate wouldn't it be worth more in the future, so why would I pay less?

I was born there and grew up in Long Beach but live in the South now. I entertain notions of moving back, but I don't work right now, and one income (hubby's) would not support us there. Even when I do work, I am a teacher..not a huge salary. The house we live in in Ga would cost like 5x as much in Ca. How does anyone do it?? I truly don't get it. Does everyone make more money there or something?
