Buy this and that, can't live without it. I see parents buying stuff all the time and bribbing there children with materialistic garbage. Aren't Birthdays, Christmas, and Valentines enough? Don't you think that when these children get older and can't afford every thing that they want, that they will start to steal, therefore setting into action a whole new set of problems?

I know the answer is in the question but I want more information about what I might be doing. I own a home (conventional loan) and I am getting married soon. My fiancee and I want to buy a new home together so we applied. They said because I just changed careers they can do an interest only loan. How does it work? what are the benefits? what are the downfalls? Any information will help. Thanks.

I was able to file my federal return free but because I work in 1 state and live in another, I had to pay to file in both those states. Can I deduct the filing fees for my '05 return this year since I paid those fees in '06?

How do you search for jobs without using the internet? I am a recent college graduate and I have been searching online for a non profit job but to no avail. My question may seem stupid but i've never lived without the internet as my resource....How did people used to find work? Did they just go from place to place seeing and hoping they were hiring?? Did they call them? Was it all networking? I know now a lot of places do not want you to call (well non profits at least) so what happens then?

I think I already know the answer I am just frusturated with this whole process....

I'm the secretary for a section consisting of 7 people. It's only 2 that are bothersome. They ask what am I eating, where did I buy it from, would I like to share, etc. Short of leaving the office when I eat, what do I say or what do I do to get them to leave me the h*** alone? I was married January of 2006. I have a debt that I owe on for Social Security and one to the Department of Economic Security. The debts have been collected by intercepting my taxes every year. They were both acquired before I was married. This year we will file married but we do not want his taxes collected for my debts (also I have not worked in the year 2006). I know there is more benefit to us if we file jointly as opposed to separately. I also heard if we file jointly we could submit an 8379 injured spouse. How much longer does this take, if it is filed will it guarantee it will not take his return, and living in Arizona does this affect us will all of this? Are there any other options for us instead?

I don't get it. Increased profits/earnings, record growth, global expansion...yet the stock goes down. I obviously don't understand the dynamics of the stock market and the triggers. You would think those things would make a stock rise...but that's obviously not the case. Anybody got any insight on what causes this inverted stock reaction to positive financials?

Considering it would be an increase of $250 per month for a new place. I just got done with my car payments. However, I do have outstanding credit card debt and student loans (around $4000 & $4000 respectively)...So the question is..is it better to move out to a better place, or stay where I am to pay my debts off faster?
