Have you heard of such premise:
"The biggest mistake a fundamentalist makes is thinking that the stocks and company are the same" and
"The biggest mistake a technician makes is thinking that the stocks and company are different"

What's your opinion?

first off you have to list rent, food, car insurance, utilities(water, gas, electric)telephone, car payment, and gasoline. you must use a "40 hr work week"(yes I know you dont get 40 when you make min. wage). also you have to use current prices for your area in the budget. i.e. state wages, housing costs etc. if you actually make this budget work I will be completely shocked.

I understand how to make money with a call option...the stock goes up so the option is worth more...but could someone explain in "idiot proof" language how you'd buy an option at $X price and the stock goes down....the option is worth less....how does that make you money? My husband is getting into options and although I trust him completely....I don't understand this and he explains it in terms that I don't "get"...any help would be appreciated.

My spouse & I are in serious financial problems. I think we need to file bankruptcy because he has stopped paying his credit cards. i'm keeping up with the utilities and my own credit cards. we own 2 homes, 1 of which is on the market and my spouse refuses to bring down the asking price and now the morgage company has started foreclosure on that property. he's been able to sort of keep with the morgage payments on the home we live in. my ? is, is debt settlement a good option? I don't know where to turn to anymore. My spouse wants to "keep up the fight".

I am wandering, if you have more then 1 home and other property such as land and cars; if u foreclose on one of the homes will the lender have the right to target your other properties to pay off your loan with them? and lets say you owe more then the value of the house will you owe that difference even after foreclosing! I am in CA.

say the price is at $40, you want to sell if it goes below $39, but you expect it to go up to $45. So, this is probably the wrong terminology, but you want a stop at $39, but a limit at $45. Is there such an order and what's it called?

I don't think it's a stop limit since the price is already above $39.

My co-worker lies about her hours. Should I report her? My boss even gives her paychecks in advance, lends her money, and even accommodated her with a place to live while she was homeless for a little while. I get along with her, but the company is pretty lenient. I just think it sucks for my boss because he is losing money. We both work pretty independently and I only notice these things because I make the work for her. My boyfriend said my boss will find out sooner or later, but it's been quite some time. Should I let him know?
