why doesnt my boss?

Do anything? He is never at work but instead stays home all day and sends nasty e-mails and demands productivity...What's up with that?

Send him emails always ask him about his agenda for the day, and if he is traveling or such. And tell him at the end of the email to "keep you posted" so you know if youre available since you cannot meet him in person at work because there is no involvement of him "on-site".
