She attends a 2 1 /2 hours toddler adventure class Mon and Wed through out the year? Is this something I can claim on my taxes?

For federal taxes, if you and your spouse work and the classes are really Day Care, then yes. Otherwise, no. There are no "educational credits" until one is out of high school.

Some states allow for credits for this type of education and some do not. Please check with your state to see what they offer. I know that California and Pennsylvania do not, but Minnisota does (I'm pretty sure).

Only if she's in the classes to enable you to work, or to go to college, then maybe. You might have a hard time showing that, given how short the classes are.

If you are working while she is in these classes, then you can claim child and dependent care expenses. Otherwise, no.
