first off you have to list rent, food,car insurance,utilities(water,gas,electric)telephone,car payment,and gasoline. you must use a "40 hr work week"(yes I know you dont get 40 when you make min. wage). also you have to use current prices for your area in the budget. i.e. state wages,housing costs etc. if you actually make this budget work I will be completely shocked.

I make $14.00 an hr and I can barely make it. Its not gonna happen on min wage unless your rent is next to nothing, you own your own car and only get liability insurance. Min wage here is $7.25 and at a 40 hr work week it comes to $290. Take away about $60 in that for taxes. That makes $920 a month. You are asking the impossible.

I can hardly make it work in Norfolk, VA on about 50k, forget about minimum wage.
