I was wondering if each county in the United States has a website to help a new homeowner figure out how much they are being assessed on their home for the past year 2006. Does anybody know the answer to this? Thanks for your help!!!

Selling price was $205,000 on a traditional 100% 30 year fixed. re-fi two weeks later on a 80/20 30 year fixed due to loan to value to avoid PMI. House just appraised for $330,000. Reason for wanting to sell: we would like to move closer to our jobs. But we would hate to give Uncle Sam free money.

I keep my credit cards in my wallet but despite this the magnetic strip on each card gets damaged which renders the card useless. This has happened three times even though i changed wallets. Is there a special way to prevent this at all?

When you buy tickets for a concert using a credit card and it tells you that you must present the card with your tickets at the door, do you have to be the cardholder? My mom bought the tickets with her card, so I will bring hers, but do you think they'll ask if I'm the cardholder?

I am trying to update my resume but am unable to decide what my job title should be. I am called a Billing/Follow-up Analyst at a hospital but I don't do that I just sit in that area. What I do is search in the computer, internet and books. I have 6 or more programs up a day and I search for information. Patient, insurance or whatever is needed to get a claim paid. Once I find the information I load it into other programs in the system and then I bill the claim. I could be searching because it is incorrect or because it is not there at all. I also search for information from reports that has nothing to do with claims -- it could just be information my supervisor wants so she hands it to me. If anyone can please help me with a title I would appriciate it I need to move on in my career.

I am self-employed. I made $13,138.39 last year. How much should I have paid to the government for federal income tax, social security tax and medicare tax? I am married with a child and have deductions and credits, but I am curious about how much I owe before this is taken into consideration.

Thanks!

I am a 58 year old woman that works at, Disney World. I am very unhappy with my boss but love everyone else at my work. He makes my life miserable but I hate to leave the one place that I just love working at. Do I look for another job because of this one person or stick it out for the day that he is transferred out of there (I've been waiting 3.5 years) (rumor is around that he is being protected because of his culture)? Don't know what to do.
