I was wondering if each county in the United States has a website to help a new homeowner figure out how much they are being assessed on their home for the past year 2006. Does anybody know the answer to this? Thanks for your help!!!

Depends of course, on where you live.My town has all assessments and property descriptions online, as will as at the office of the tax assessor.
Call you tax assessment department in your county and ask them if they have a website. If not, you can go to their office and get the information within minutes.

try http://www.taxnetusa.com/

or just type in your county name and "central appraisal district" under a search engine

or type in your county name plus "county property taxes"

not all counties have websites, but many do

Yes, your county assessor will have a website. However, you should receive that information by mail from them.

Ordinarily every county has a website. You can make contact with them via email.
