I opted out of serps in 1990, was it a good idea ??

Write to the Head Office of the financial institution which you transferred your SERPS to. Quote them your policy number and simply ask them whether you were correctly advised in 1990 and whether you should continue with the present arrangement. Under current legislation they are very unlikely to mislead you.

are you government employee? if so bad idea. it is your pension,your tomorrow.
