does anyone know a breakdown of the solicitors conveincing fee's when re-mortgaging your home?

The banks give them a commission, there should be no fee to you.

Normally the re-mortgage company states a fixed fee.

Usually its around £300 - sometimes you get deals with 'free legal / valuation' - just shop around.
