I am 14 years old and I want to make some extra cash. I know you can't work until you are 16, so I want to do something like babysit. The problem is that I can never find people who need a babysitter, etc. I need job ideas and good ways to advertise! Please help! If it helps I love animals and kids, but I am open to any ideas.

How about as a dog walker(taking dogs for walks) You could make up some flyers and walk around your neighborhood and give them to anyone you see who has a dog or any place that looks like they have a dog. Maybe volunteer a couple hours at a local animal shelter. Let them know what you're wanting to do and maybe they will help you and recommend you to the dog owners they know.

Are you CPR and First Aid trained to handle emergencies if you were to babysit. Sometimes these are offered Thur your local Heatlh Dept or Red Cross. You can mow lawns etc. I am proud of you for wanting to work and earn you money. Keep up the positive intentions.

Look into a paper route. They are hard work. But my sons made good money. Even getting a scholarship. There are many papers from local community to big city.
