I already have access to MLS- do i really need a broker? Granted, there is a lot of confusing paperwork but cant i have a real estate friend to look it over for me. And doesnt it seem like a selling broker would be more willinbg to work with someone who doesnt have a buying broker since they get to keep the whole fee?

Thanks- Andrew

I have used the same lady to do my taxes the last 2 years and I went to go get them done today and she is no longer there. Last year I did not get any of my papers back so I have nothing to look on, to find this out. I know that whn you file your taxes there is a place for them to sign or if they e-file they must have some sort of code or number or something. Anyways, I would really like her to do my taxes as well as she has my papers from the last 2 years that I would like to get. If anyone knows how I could find anything out about my tax lady I would very much appreciate it.

My 20s were good to me...many memorable trips and fiascos :)

Now, I'm 32 with a lovely wife and 4 kids. College $ comes to mind; not to mention, the wife still loves her trips to the promised land (Vegas). I'm clueless to the market, mutual funds, and all the other CD mumbo-jumbo. I have a modest income of 40k/yr and a 401k at 15%/yr. Not enough to stay afloat and invest aggresively.

I need a cluebook that will give me info to 'safe bets' or directions to creating a balanced nest egg for all involved.

I have been unemployed since October since that time my resume has stated the following:

"My objective is to secure an on-going position in a legal office and further my skills in customer service and communication. Furthering my studies and gaining experience will help me to accomplish this."

I don't know if this is what I really want anymore after being unemployed for a lengthy period of time with the subject of my career constantly on my mind. I don't think that the line I used is effective enough as I have now been unemployed for a period of 14 weeks. I need something bolder and stronger too communicate to a potential employer much more effectively.

It feels like forever since I last worked and I have been actively looking for a job since my last position ended.

The thing is, I am thinking of broadening my searches for work but eventually I would love to study law and in 5 years time become a paralegal.

Please help me replace the line in my resume that I think sucks

Medical card insurance or health insurance is getting popular in Malaysia. Do you think that when a patient produce his / her medical card to the private hospital, the medical treatment cost will go up compare to those without medical card insurance?

I would really like to know about the occupation and was hoping you would help me. Please include as much as you know like salary, daily routine and other things. Hope your explanation would really help me to make up my mind THANKS!

We are filing jointly but we are in the middle of a divorce. I am getting the refund direct deposited in my account. How much do i have to give her, if anything? i mean, there is no agreement saying how much i have to give her. She wants 1200 but I think 800 is more appropriate considerng she doesnt work.. Ok, on a bigger note, she has constantly harrassed me at work and i am in the military so that always gets me in trouble. She has made no attempt to better herself by getting a job and she hasnt had one in over 3 years, all she has done is live off of me. She thinks the world owes her. I am already giving her 900/month until the d is final. and trust me, it aint easy. she lives in a 3 floor townhome and can barely make the rent, she gets high all day and i know this cuz her sister who lves with her tell me so, plus her b/f's are borderline psycho. i live in the barracks on ramen soup. tell me whats fair about all of that?

Okay I have been with a company for 3 years and it's getting to the point I can't take things anymore. I'm basically a database administrator, secretary, filing clerk, systems analyst, purchasing agent, and bookkeeper for AR and AP. I asked for a raise and actually got told I couldn't get one then the people whose job I was doing extra work for got raises and bonuses. Christmas recently came and went with nothing, no bonus, no congrats and I haven't had a raise now in over a year.

So I was curious if other people were in similar situations and how they got a better job and left their current one easily. I'm going back to school to get certs for computers in addition to my working knowledge (A+, MCSA, MCSE) but I'm near my breaking point. Any ideas on how to keep my cool or a way to find another job quicker? I'm 29, so being young and doing real office work sucks in my area I get judged on my age more than my ability a lot.

I've wanted to be a chef for years, and I've picked out my school already. I know that a sous chef is a sort of assistant, but I'd kinda like to know what kind of a job they do compared to a regular chef.

It has been a week since my interview, which went very well. I understand that they have to interview other people within 1 to 2 weeks. I checked online to see if the job posting was still there. It was removed. Does that mean they already hired someone else?

Lately I’ve been getting phone calls from this number: 866-776-8221.
I put the number into Yahoo’s search engine and I got this link that takes you to their website.
http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/settlement/about13489.html
I neither have need of nor do I wish to do any kind of business with them.
I’ve called this kind of number before to tll them to stop calling and it doesn’t stop them.
What can be done to stop them?

I've been at my job for less than 2 months, and this is the second time I've seriously considered leaving (see 'Should I stick it out?'). At first my uncertainty was due to my mistakes and inability to learn fast enough. Now, it is mostly because of my supervisor's actions. She's been losing her patience with me in varying degrees, and it has gotten to the point where I'm uncomfortable even asking her any questions. Most recently, she behaved in a way that I felt was unprofessional (she snapped at me, then proceeded to complain loudly in the next room). While I should have everything down by now, this is a completely different field than my previous job, and there are still some areas I need to work on. I've been trying my best, but feel that all my supervisor sees are my shortcomings. I would bring this up with my manager, but they're friends and I'm concerned that might create more problems. Has anyone been in this position? What do you recommend? I'm just so stressed.

this is my 1st house and 1st sell, but someone told me you can advertise your home and you dont need a realtor, just a buyer and then a closing company, they say this will save me the money the relator would have gotten, but again this is my 1st rodeo, i am trying to sell a huge 4 plex in a busy tourist town, and everyone thinks the realtors are shiesty out here, does anyone know where to locate investors or where to place an ad, besides the local paper? what is the basic percentage a realtor gets for commission on a house being sold anyhow?

I wrote a covered call by using the "sell to open" choice. I bought stocks a week ago for $25 and I wrote the covered call for $30 and it expires in March. The premium I got on the option was $.90 a share which came out to $90. After the transaction was complete, my cash value in my account went up $90. However, why did the value in my balances/positions go down by $100?

Thanks.
