Hi, I am 23 years of age, I would like to buy an apartment the problem is, what it be a good idea to buy an apartment or a house? I only make at least $30,000 a year at my job. Also, if I do buy this apartment, would it be a good investment when I want to sell it? Need help!!!

I filed my income tax return last year and owed money to the government. I have to pay it off and would like to file my 2006 return. Is it possible to file for 2006 and have the government deduct whatever payment is owed for 2005?

I can try to buy one for myself for my children, but my concern is, how can I protect myself if my husband passes away before me? What are my legal options if I cannot convince him to buy life insurance? We have quite a conservative lifestyle, we are not lavish, we try to keep to to minimum costs but not stifling.

Please help! The stress is killing me. It's hard enough to have an uncooperative husband. Don't ask me about whether he cares for his kids or has any goals at all. He can say one thing and do another.

Way back in June my boss told me she'd give me a raise. I still haven't seen it. How can I ask her and make sure it actually happens? I am a graphic designer and I make $8.25 an hour. I still keep in touch with my college teacher and I told her what I did and she told me that I should easily be making at least $14/hour. How can I get them to "up" my pay so I can make what I deserve? My boss tells me I am a wonderful worker- why am I getting scammed?
