When I called them to complain they claimed the payment had now been received but due to the christmas post and the days the bank was closed over the festive period that my payment had been delayed in being proccessed. Surely I should not have to pay the late payment fee when it was sent on time and it is not really my fault my cheque had got caught up in there system due to them being closed over christmas and new year period.

The home I live in belongs to my mother. She does NOT have a mortgage, so the rent she receives is her's to do with what she wants. This situation has it's advantages & disadvantages... My mother has found that charging me rent & utilities of $1000 has thrown her into a higher tax bracket. She is in the process of receiving my late father's Social Security & will then stop taking a monthly draw on her investments. She also has a decent job. The next part is, she lives with her boyfriend & as far as I know the only bills she has is to buy the groceries. No car payment either. This has gone on for 2 yrs, and I could care less she does with her $. So, she tells me that she wants to help ME out financially, by lowering the rent, as I am about to have surgery which will leave me strapped for awhile. But then, she's afraid that she'll short change herself by doing so... She's asked me to help her sort this out. I have no idea what to do or to tell her! HELP!!

I have a well paid job, but sometimes I can't stand the stress and don't fully understand what I'm doing and other times I feel as if I'm learning alot and I know it is valuable experience, so I can earn even more money.

I don't know whether to start looking for another job or just stick it out until they fire me for not learning quick enough and making a big enough contribution. The thought of quitting is not nice because I don't like failure.

Anyone else in been in this situation?

I like cake decorating, candy making, etc. I don't have the money to go into business myself - nor am I sure that I want to. I'd love to work in an awesome bakery that does high-end cakes, candies, cookies, etc. - not the kind of stuff you can just get in your grocery store. I don't want "mass produce" type of work - meaning I don't want to spend my entire day icing 20 cakes with the same design - I want to do custom-type work. I don't have a pastry degree although I'd love to get one -just can't afford it. How can I find an internship or something like that so I can get a job in this industry? Other problem - I live in KY - and I don't really know of any high-end bakeries...... anyone have any ideas?

I bought a 2001 celica a bank loaned me monie and i had full coverage the day i drove it off the lot. requiered in order to buy or be approved for a loan. the bank charged me an extra hundred dollars every month for 6 months. i totaled it two months after buying it. yet i was charged extra by the bank for not showing my full coverage to them so ther bank was charging trhem extra and in turn they were charging me extra. well the bank recieved a full pay off by my insurance and i still owed like 5 thousand dollars.i nver recieved any notice to show full coverage. i finally researched my account and realized the bank was still charging my mom. this bank employee told my mom she would hep lower the payment and that they would settle the account for less than owed and close it. well the ladie wanted to charge my mom one thousand extra so i told her over the phone i wanted to speak with her supervisor and she told me and your mom will handle this and said she did not want to talk with me any
