Ok I collect disabilaty . i heard that i can do my taxes on disabilaty is this true? I have 2 kids and would like to know i never done this before i have done circuit breaker but not file for taxes on disabilaty . Can anyone help me with this . I live in IL

No you cannot. Unless you've had federal withholding from your social security. Social Security disability isn't taxable. Sorry.

you collect disability, you will not get much back, and you can't get earned income credit because your income is not "earned". I would go see a tax preparer. Pretty soon they will have the VITA tax preparers at the Senior Centers, and other places for people who are low-income. You need to go see a VITA tax preparer (they don't charge- are volunteer's) VITA stands for Volunteer Income Tax Assistance.
