Medicaid is tax-free. You do not report it as income. It will not reduce any credits or refunds.

I had Medicaid to pay for my baby delivery expenses in 2005, and we didn't owe to IRS on tax return in 2006.
But, maybe it's case to case basis ..

no medicaid is something totally different than taxes!
