There is a well known, well established bar in our small town that is going out of business. It is a popular spot, and me along with 4 friends are interested in purchasing/leasing it and then rennovating it.

Two of the girls have extensive experience working in bars like this one, and another one is into the business end of things. We know that this will not be profitable for the first little while, and are prepared for that aspect.

I am mainly interested in finding out exactly what we are getting ourselves in to so that we can be well educated before we make any big decisions.

Any help you can offer would be appreciated!

To pay back an eductional loan , is it good to get an equity loan or should I ask the collection agency work out a payment plan?. The collection lady suggested me to get an equity loan from a bank to pay for it.

I have been at my job for a year now, and I'm getting bored, and it makes it hard to keep it from showing to my superiors. I don't want to get lazy and complacant, but the job isn't enough of a challenge for me. I work better and more efficiently when I'm busy and challenged, and I haven't been in awhile so I tend to get careless and bored. Can anyone sugest anything to help?

Anybody know a clean room company (NOT a janitorial ) in Toronto? What they do is building rooms for pharmaceutical, technologies, etc. type of warehouse but has to be clean from dust or any partial that can damage their products.

I got a letter congratulating me on winning $50k. And there was a check inside for $3000. It said to deposit it in my checking account and to use it to pay taxes. I later found that it's a scam and that the check is most likely counterfeit.

But the problem is, I already deposited in my bank via ATM.... so what will happen now? It's a Canadian check and my bank if Bank of America. When it bounces will I be responsible for any fees or even prosecuted?????

About 6 months ago there was a major change in my life, and now my job is my life, and my personal life took a back seat. I now have a young baby and a wife happy with her work. I hate my job, and it really has become my life. How do I get back to where I was where my life was what I focused on, not my career. I started my first "career" a few weeks after my baby was born, but since then, my job was too important, and I don't like what I do.
