i have long term funding available after the 1st of the year for this project. this is for a "bridge" until that time. no real estate loans on this deal at all. so that option is out. my personal credit is not available at this time. business credit cards are "gas cards only" at this time (again until after the 1st of the year).

Okay, I'm upside down on my truck by about $2000... If I sell it for less than I owe on it, how would I do that if it were just a private party sell? Do they get the title from the financial institution? Do I just pay off whatever is left with the current payments? How does this work out?

Also, is it possible for someone to just take over payments on the truck? How does that work out?

I remember when I was 16 years old. Food was free and you could even take it home if you wanted too, and when it closed up you could bring food home for free. It ain't like that anymore, you have to pay for your meal and when it's time to close up the food has to be thrown away, no one can have it. If you take it home even though it's going in the trash can anyway. It's stealing. What's up with the fast food corporations now? Are they really hurting that bad by the economy that they have to go to these measures?

Hey

I won a bid on ebay, but the seller doesn’t take Paypal. Yeah, I know, tell me about it.

But they take, money order, or cashiers check. So, I’m thinking of going and getting a cashiers check from my bank. But my question is, the item that I won on ebay was sold in British Pounds, so I have to pay in that currency. Will my bank make out a cashiers check in British Pounds rather than US dollars?

I think the seller will accept personal checks but I just don’t feel comfortable giving such and not sure if a bank in England would even cash it. So like I said, would my bank (a US bank) make out a cashiers check to me in British Pounds, so that I can pay for my item and send off the payment?

Thanks for any help and your time.
