Hello. I've been working in the same office for 10 years. same place with same Boss. i was promoted over the years and i 'm now in a very senior position. and i get a lot of benefits and financially its good. the company grew over the years too. Great! my problem is i am sick of my boss. She 's very polite and helpful . but she is annoyingly shrewd and tactful and is real scared of giving power away. so even though i am kind of on top i have very little powers and feel like a goat. alot of the other staff go through this too but ignore. now that i have come really on top and also very senior i feel frustrated. She smiles so sweet but make me sick. i was looking out for other jobs but there is nothing that pays & don’t give the benefits as well as this. every weekday morning i get this SICK feeling when i come to work. am i to
1. stay here ( i m doing it! I feel wasted ) for the money OR
2. Go for another job even though the benefits and salary may not be good as this one (boo..)

I have been a credit controller for 6 years now and want to move on. I was thinking of advancing my career by taking further qualifications in credit management etc.

Can any one advice me if it is worth taking those exams and are they worth taking in order to advance my career?

Apart from becoming a credit control manager, what other jobs could I apply for after passing the exams?

I am working on a project where I look at 4 different stocks using the monday closing price for 10 weeks in a row. I need to find the beta for each stock using the S&P data as the independent variable. I just can not seem to come up with anything on this one. All I can find online is the listed beta's for the stocks but they must be from a specific time frame so none of them will work.
