Before you go calling the credit police on me, I'm just wondering if overstating your income on a credit application can lead to anything really detrimental to someone. I have to fill out a credit application for a new car and since I have no credit history I have a cosigner who has more credit than me but has less income.

The dealership requires my cosigner to be the "primary applicant" since he is the one who holds the credit. We were thinking of falsifying his income and increasing the amount he makes so the dealership will approve our financing request on the first go around.

Once I can get my real cosigner (with significant income and credit) to cosign for me (after 3-4 months that the original cosigner signs) I will refinance and have them (the second cosigner) cosign for a cheaper rate, and true documented income.

I'm asking if this would be harmless to do, since I'm pretty sure dealerships check your credit and not into your income & job details.

My husband and I are renting the perfect size house for us in a seemingly perfect neighborhood. We don't want to move b/c we are getting a great deal on the rent compared to local mortgages.
We are slightly interested in renting to own, and so is our landlord. He is really nice but lives far away from us, so he can't get out to the house much. In fact, he hasn't been to the house in the last 5 years!

We know the prevous two renters and go to church with them. The same carpeting, kitchen cabinets, kitchen appliances and light fixtures have been in the house since it was built and we are so embarrassed when company comes over, but we don't think we should have to pay to replace all that, especially if we don't decide later to buy the house.

How can we ask our landlord to renovate it? Obviously we wouldn't ask for it all to be done at once- just knowing he will change it would help us feel better. Should we ask? When do we ask? Any ideas?

there is this older guy at work who has two faces,he is so nice and he is always making jokes to make people laugh but behind their backs he tries to stab them,i got this new position at work a month ago,and the person who was supposed tp train me was busy in her new position,so i didnt have much to do,and everytime he came into the office he saw me not doing anything,so he wrote an email to all the managers about "unproductive wasteful people who should be gotten rid of",and he knows that i am supposed to read my co workers' email cuz i get important info in there,so he knew that i would catch that email, last week he tried to blame me for some mistake that some1 else did,he wrote an email again to all the managers saying that "the person in charge might not have communicated the changes to everyone so thats why they made a mistake",he has a much higher position in the company, and earn a lot more,i guess that he doesnt want me there cuz he has some1 else in mind to fill in the position

I want to quit my job. I love the work but I'm underappreciated and underpaid. What's the best way to quit in case I need to return? Do I type a letter, talk to a manager? Why should I tell them I'm leaving? Thanks!

I have a $50 gift card and I read somewhere that you should spend them after the holidays because prices go down, but I read somewhere else that there are fees if you wait too long, or damage it.
I received it on August 11, 2006

Jews control over 80% of america's economy. Do white people have it all wrong? Would it be better for whites to become fake jews and adopt jewish sounding last names learn a few hebrew words and celebrate hanukah to break into the jewish monopolies.

After all Jews are notorious for changing their last names to sound american. Is this fair game?

My finances are a mess! Due to extreme bank charges! I have just checked my online bank statement to find 138 pound worth of charges that has been taken over the last 4 days!!

I called my bank and was told i went over my account for 3 seperate occasions (resulting in a 30pound charge for each!) one of which was a 1.99 interest charge to them and they took 30 for that! they said it doesnt matter how little or large the amount is the charge still stands!

The other charge of 38pound is for a returned Direct debit there wasnt enough money in my account to pay so ive got

3 x30 charges and a 38 charges where do i stand this is terrible i dont have this sort of money to spare!!

Banks are no support at all and only assistance is to offer me a bigger overdraft or a credit card!! charming trying to push me into even further debt just to clear these charges!

what should i do?

I'm looking for a cash back card. Miles, gift certificates, etc don't really interest me. I'm looking for a card to use on literally everything I buy (which I will pay off monthly so interest isn't a deciding factor) and accrue some cash back while I'm at it.
Several people reccomended Chase cards because they had a 5% cash back rate on "everyday purchases", but I wasn't able to find any that had better than 3%. Are there any cards still out there with 5% or better?
I've seen many similar questions to this one on here, but most of them seem dated.

Any suggestions?
