My soon-to-be ex spouse is no longer living in the house we own together. I am trying to get the house sold currently. The ex will share equally in splitting the house proceeds. I pay the entire mortgage myself. Isn't my ex responsible for sharing the property taxes UNTIL THE HOUSE SELLS. My ex only wants to share in paying the 2005 taxes but not 2006 and onward until the house sells. Also I live in a community property state (WI) if that helps.

I am a registered nurse and I am interested in starting a home health agency in my extremely small community. This is a need. I have no idea on how to even begin such a venture! I know that I will need money and I am going to look into grants...and so on...but what do I need to do? If you dont know, does anyone know of any websites that can help guide me through this process?

I would like to learn more about "all things financial" because I am very ignorant on the subject. I would need to find some books written without all the buzzwords and confusing terms. What are your top 5 financial books? Thanks!

Jenny transferred a building (adjusted basis of $70,000 and fair market value of $260,000) to Boxer Corporation. In return, Jenny received 80% of Boxer Corporation's stock (worth $148,000) and an automobile (fair market value of $32,000). In addition, there is an outstanding mortgage of $80,000, held for 5 years, on the building that Boxer Corporation assumed. With respect to this transaction:

I work for a government helpline and every day my call times are through the roof. I never meet the call time targets for the centre and I am worreid about losing my job. Unfortunitly Due to the business I am in I am required to take details from customers, And EVERY TIME I get on the phone these people NEVER have their details, Hardley speak english, expect me to work out their income (especially if they dont know what they are earning) and just wont get off the phone cause they fancy a Fu@king chat.

Sorry to rant, but the quetion I want to ask is does anyone have any tips or techniques for redusing call timesand just generally getting people off the phone. Please dont confuse this with not providing quality service, because I always do my best for people (I really do!!!) but I need a way to make people give me the information required and hang up the phone faster or its likley I'll get the sack! Does anyone have any tips or techniques, pharases, anything please!

Thanks

Does it work? How often does it work?

I know that I have an account in collections and that I owe them money... One is for $43, one is for $64, and the last is for $1,349. However, I know that I can threaten to sue them if they dont reply in 30 days to wipe the bad credit based under the FDCPA rules.

So, how often does debt validation work?

I just ordered contacts from them for the first time. They asked for my doctors name so I gave them the name of the doctor who gave me the prescription. I just started my insurance with Kaiser and don't want to go through the hassle of an eye exam since my contact prescription has been steady for the last 8 years. So here is my follow up question...The doctors name I gave them was from my previous Health plan so will the doctor give out that information? Or verify my insurance information is still valid before giving out my prescription?
Thank you!!
