Any applications handed before the interview begins, are to be filled in as accurately as possible, make sure they match the information in your Cv and Cover Letter.
Always greet the interviewer by his/her last name and try to pronounce it correctly.
Have a good firm handshake.
Look alert and interested. Scan the room once and then keep your eyes on the interviewer.
Wait until you are offered a chair before you sit down.
Stress your achievements.
Always conduct yourself professionally and if something beyond your control occurs, show a sense of humor.
Be enthusiastic and show it in your replies and body language.
Answer the interview question by more than a simple yes or no but try not to go over the 60 second limit.
Avoid at all cost complaining about your current or former employer in your job interview.
Do not answer questions about politics or religion if the job is completely unrelated.
Do not raise salary discussions on your first interview - this is usually done on the second interview. Make sure you do your wage research before hand.

You have already been given some good tips.
Before your interview - talk to yourself in the mirror. Tell yourself what you can do, how well you have done them. What you are proud of about your ability.
Then ask: What is it about this company that I can be an asset.
Are you :
Loyal to employers
Able to multi-task
Driven to feel a sense of accomplishment at the end of the day.
All that positive stuff.
Talk about yourself on tape, then replay. You will be surprised on how you sound. I did that and found that I said umm, before each sentence. So I concentrated on stopping that.
I also try to learn a new vocabulary word each week. And use it. Amazing how a putz like me can come across as an intelligent individual.
Finally -
Dazzle them with a smile and friendly disposition.
Best of Luck.

Talk how to made an asset to the company, what can you bring the company or organization, don't quote material off your resume, show them that are enthusiastic about the position, etc.
Here are some great websites that provides some interview tips, questions, etc. The most important thing is never say you can't answer a question or you don't know. But, most of all, be honest and be yourself. Don't be nervous! Good Luck!

Ask yourself why you really think you would be good at the job and make sure you get it accross at the interview. A few nerves are healthy but if you get a lot just remember, we're all born and die equals. The interviewers are just doing their job and are probably lloking forward to having lunch anyway so really if they ask tricky questions it's not because they don't like you!

It's most important not to stress your weaknesses, play on your strengths. I have hired and fired a lot in my career and can tell the moment the applicant walks in the door whether they are suitable.
A lot of people start by saying what they can't do instead of saying what they can do. If asked a difficut question that you can't answer say to the panel, I'm not too sure but I know where to get the answer, you'll get brownie points for that.

When I interview people, I always like to hear evidence of their achievements, as this catches a lot of people out who blag a lot. So, I you said on your CV...."I have a proven track record in leadership" one of my questions would be... How is it proven? Who said it was proven? and Why is it proven?
So never lie on your CV, but at the same time, you can enhance your skills and experience at interview. Before you go in, write a list of your key achievements that are relevant to the job you are applying for. Then take that in to the interview as notes and make sure that you refer to them in your answers at interview, as under pressure you may forget. They can act as prompts. Also, be specific with your answers...eg. don't say "I reduced labour turnover", but say "I reduced labour turnover by 20% and this had an effect on morale....etc"
Just some ideas.
Good luck!

First, find out about body language so you don't look scared or hostile.
Second, find out something about the company.
They will almost certainly ask why you want to work for them. Have your answer ready.
