I have written two letters of complaint to a company and had no replies to either letter which I think is rude if nothing else. I bought a used car in June from a car company, it has had faults since the day I bought it and I have got no where either by phone or letter in getting faults rectified. I have been told by a few people to take my complaint to the Small Claims Court, I have quoted The Sales of goods act 1979 and Section 75 of the Consumers Credit Act in both my letters to them, we paid by credit card plus another car as trade in! The car cost £4995.00! I waffle I know but I thought the more info the better for you to answer. What I want to know is, is it a case for Small Claims Court? Is it expensive to take a company to Small Claims Court? What do I do now? Thanks in advance for your help!! Serious Answers Please!!! XX

I have a Bachelor's degree and three years with my present district. Housing is all that worries the heck out of me...decent neighborhood, good schools, etc. I have a great family, I just am not happy up north (recent seperation and town not big enough for both of us). My kids are okay with moving, and I think I deserve to be content. I prefer Texas, but at this point will consider anywhere warm that I can secure decent housing via Michigan. Please help with the brainstorming phase!?!

I failed to pay taxes for years 2003, 2004. When I paid my taxes for 2005 on time (in Feb of 2006), I paid nearly 25K for backtaxes for years 2003 and 2004 including all penalties.

I am now doing my taxes for 2006, were my payments in Feb of 06 for backtaxes, of 03 and 04 , in any way deductible for 06?

Thanks,
Ryan

I am the owner, I am not renting. There is a management company which I pay an annual fee for a block insurance policy. How do I make a claim for this? If the water is coming from outside my apartment is it the management company policy , my own or the owner of the apartment above?!

My boyfriend had some mexicans working for him doing roofing work through a company that paid my boyfriend directly. Then my boyfriend would pay the Mexicans. This year he recieved a bill for $80,000 from the Government saying that is what he paid that year, however, most was paid to the Mexicans. He never had them fill out a w-2 form, but he said he can still do that, and still have them fill them out, does he have anytime to do that, can he still do that since he already paid them last year and it is over and done with, to show he paid them, and did not make all the money himself?

What does a builder's preferred lender need to have and check to qualify me for a loan to the builder vs. what is required to get a pre-approval? My wife and I have been through both with our lender, but the builder we are buying from says they will not accept our contract if we do not apply (get qualified) with his lender. We do not want our credit run again, but the housing market here in silicon valley can be rough and we don't want to miss out on this place.
