I wouldn't worry about your age, just what job looks good to apply for, what you are qualified for.
Look on MN Job bank. http://www.mnworks.org I have had a lot of luck there.
In some area's there are places called Experienced works or Mature works and you have to be 55 or older.

Hey 55 is young. In the old days 55 was looked at differently but people are living a lot longer now.
I am 40 but I work with others who are 55-79 years old. It's a non manual labor online job.
