If you got an e-mail about it, it doesn't exist. That's a scam, pure and simple. Don't contact the buggers and NEVER give them your details!

There IS a lottery in the UK; you can buy tickets at pretty much any news agent and many other shops as well. But as with all legitimate lotteries, it's up to you to check your tickets for winners and make the claim yourself. They NEVER notify winners by e-mail, especially as they don't ask for e-mail addresses when you buy a ticket!

Here's a link to the REAL UK National Lottery. http://www.lottery.co.uk
There's plenty of information on the lottery, how it works, how to file a claim, and all of the scams that purport to be part of the National Lottery.

No you may not win any lottery with out procuring a cost ticket. No tickets would nicely be offered for the united kingdom Lottery from exterior the united kingdom. in case you had gained a prize, you does not be asked for money so as to assemble it. the full element is unfaithful and may be reported to the police, rather. in case you have been silly sufficient to deliver them money you does not see it back, nor might you spot any prize. the main suitable element is to delete the e-mail and understand that no-one supplies money for not something!
