Interdepartmental Communication (IC) is a method of communication between different departments of the same organization. This includes intercomms, Local Area Networking and official letters; generally referred to as Inter Office Notes (IONs) or memorandums (memos), that are different from formal letters written to other organizations.

IC is adopted in almost all the organizations and companies including restaurants.
