Yes, if you want to make the most money you can when you start working and throughout your career.

But if you do go, make sure you treat college as an investment that requires a return. Figure out what career you want to have, how much that career pays given where you want to live, and then pick a major and a college geared around that. If you choose wisely and work hard, college will pay for itself countless times over.

if you feel like that you are ready then the answer is yes, but if you have some doubts even then I would say that you should, everybody gets nervous about this topic, but if you work hard and stay focus you will become a successful students. or you can take a year or two off, work and save some money for college. or you can start off as a part time student and get a part time job this way you would know if college is for you and with a part time job you won't have to worry about the money for college.

No. Unless you are going to major in engineering, computer science, or become a lawyer. If, however, you are going to major in the liberal arts, English, Social Studies, etc., and don't plan on becoming a teacher, don't waste your time and money. I know plenty who have done well in life without going to college. Some joined government unions at 18 years old, and make more than the average worker. You're better off taking a government civil service test. Also remember computer genius Bill Gates dropped out of college, tv mogul Ted Turner never went to college, and former US President Harry S. Trumen never went to college. No need to keep egg head professors employed.
